Baker / McGuire

Baker and McGuire are sister brands under one roof, but they do very different things. Baker (1890, Michigan) is the casegoods house: dining tables, credenzas, beds, upholstery, signed designer collections that anchor a lobby or a presidential suite. McGuire (1948, San Francisco) is the rattan and woven side: hand-bent frames, rawhide lashings, the chairs and lounge pieces that give a poolside bar or resort lounge its character. Baker for the bones of a room, McGuire for the pieces people actually sit in and photograph.
